So I thought I should post about my bike, and let everyone know what I have done since I have had it. I picked it up in May from my Dad who had wrecked it 2 years ago. He didn't need to be starting it "to make sure the engine was still in good shape". He had done this every year since '72 to keep tags on it. This is my first motorcycle, and somehow decided I could fix it back up. I didn't really know (and still learning) what I was getting into... Off the truck Bent forks Neck Damage

Awesome bike man. I'd love to tear up some dirt roads on that.

Great job. Seeing this bike in person is the reason i'm taking on the DT. Very inspiring! BTW a nice "tribute" to your dad i think.

Both bikes, ahem and family, made it safe and sound. Now for sleep. Hopefully riding to my Dad's in the morning.

And back home to Springbilly. I got to ride the KZ around my old High School stomping grounds, just 20 years late. My Dad was excited to see the Yamaha and see it running a lot better than ever! We got to tool around the hood together. People were catching 2wheel fever and I had to give rides. These next two pretty much sum up the full range of emotions ;D
