I personally think my flight jacket far exceeds the carhartt. I mean it was made for flight. I have some 14 eye docs for the feet. I never could get the hand thing down though. They get cold. I'm a purest. No suits just some military gear and some balls. When its cold its cold. Nice write up bro!

They're slightly oversized handguards that mount to the handlebars and direct the wind away from your hands. I rode my CB700SC 600 miles on a day that never got warm enough to melt ice, and my hands never got cold. Dennis Kirk might still have them, but there are probably other places (including eBay) that may have them cheaper. Well worth it!

Accidents happen; regardless of the measures we do to prevent them. My goal is to arrive alive and healthy from work. That is especially true with hobbies and interests.

Gunna be a fun ride home. ;D Hopefully you won't be out too late. I just got home at 3:45pm and had to ride through the thickening snowfall (riding in snowfall at night sucks; I would advise against it). Did about 80 miles running around today. Arrived home toasty warm in my non-heated layered clothing. ;-)
