As some of you know the XS "Tracker" that Vince bought was not in as good a shape as represented...

The good news is that the guys at Merionville Powersports have taken the bike to heart as their winter project. I got to spend some time with them yesterday as they brought vince up to date on the build.

These guys are enthusiasts and have earned my respect already...

Will they be cleaning up the casting ridges in the head ports while in there?
Replacing the 4 rubber backed head washers with brass?
Now might be the time to make a turbulance shield for the sump filter.
And replace the cam chain and front guide.
Go ahead and get them links to XS650.com and the XS650 garage unless they have a tech very familiar with the XS650.
There are several tips and tricks for a leakless rebuild.
