I am trying to replace the ignition switch on a 95 yamaha seca 2 but i dont know how to get it off the triple tree clamp. the bolts holding it on dont have heads and im not sure how to go about this, help would be greatly appreciated guys. here are some pictures Attachments:

that is the right switch and the diagram is correct except there are two bolts not one on mine and the are not hex heads. they are smooth i cut a slot in them with a dremel but they wont budge

These are shear head bolts, and a witch to remove. Spray liberally with WD-40, or your choice of product, let soak, and either get aggressive with your dremel slot cutting, or use a chisel. I've also gotten these out by drilling down the center and using a screw extractor.

i broke a bit in an attempt to use an impact driver to remove them and they still wont budge these things are insane.

welp I cheated guys. took it to a shop a minute ago, the little beasties should be freed tomorrow.

in all 5 bits were broken and that includes an easy out but its all good now, they got it apart
