I have a loaner bike you can use to mock your wiring I'm not sure what good it would do to mock my wiring (Ha! You're old, brittle and have shorts!!) but if you have a CB550 I can borrow I'm willing to give it a try. ;D

Kellyn, you're going to need to know the circuits before you start putting wires together. An incorrect connection can fry your electrics! Do you have a year, make and model for your bike? It's possible to research a wiring schematic for the bike, even if it has been modified. It would at least give you a place to start!

My main problem is that it has a lot of aftermarket parts, so the colors on he wires dont match up.

I'm guessing it's a CRF50 knock off. If that's the case, you'll need..........another China knockoff to match the harness end to end. I'll throw the offer of mine back out there again, they're all similiar enough, regardless of aftermarket add ons, to get you in the right direction.
Been there, done that.
