Got myself a $250 folding trailer from HFT a while back. 12" tires, 1275lb capacity. Used it to haul the Nighthawk to the IL/WI stateline last night. Overall I was very impressed with how well it towed the 500+ miles at freeway speeds! Proper tiedown & weight distribution make all the difference! Leaving Springfield in the rain In East StL Safely unloaded in Northern IL I put a 3/8" plywood deck on, bolted thru the frame & bypassed the folding mechanism. Ran eyebolts thru the frame for tiedowns, installed a doubler in the front & screwed my front wheel chock to that. Ran all my wiring in 1/4" split loom, and added spring washers in a few strategic locations.

Dan! It's NEVER too cold to ride! Besides, riding in a blizzard would be prefefable to sitting at my in-laws... And it's upper 60's here thru Wednesday. I'll be riding a lot the next few days.

I've seen it in person. A lot of trailer for the price.
Grant it you've provided a lot of "value added".

The one addition it needs is some grip tape, that plywood is slicker than snot when it's wet.

My brother in OR has one of these. He uses it to haul dirt bikes. He constantly loads it up with 3 dirt bikes and not a single issue.

Just unloaded after the 500mi return trip. No issues at all, love this little trailer! Didn't even know it was back there half the time!
