Does anyone attend any bike night events during the week? Does anyone ride northern Arkansas on weekends? I ride a Triumph Speed Triple and was wondering if any members with sport bikes or any other would let me know about their next ride, Attachments:

Watch this ride planning section. You will see rides posted here quite often.

We have one every Wednesday at Starbucks on Sunshine at 5PM and Sunday at 1. Every type of moto you can imagine. It's a great time with good folk. Many of us do track days, and we plan group sport rides there. If you're looking for a group in Harrison, PM me and I can give you a contact there as well.

Not looking for a group in Harrison, just wondered if any other sport bike riders had discovered northern Arkansas. I received a brochure from MotorcycleArkansas.com with 7 different runs that all begin in Harrison (you can start anywhere). The runs range from 60-160 miles and 300-660 curves. I enjoy the twisties and swithbacks. Rode about 300 miles this Saturday with a Harley and Victory through N AR just get a little tired of the whole "Sons of Anarchy" thing. Nothing against real bikers, older brother was in a MC in StL and was a patch holder until his death in 2010, just looking for someone to ride with that likes to have fun, is laid back without an attitude. Thanks for the info and I'll try and make it this Wednesday and introduce myself.

Well then you're SOL, brad and tim are about as outlaw as it gets. Josh wears that denin vest with "Rocker" across the back... I'd say he's pretty close to making the grade also.

Heads WILL roll! They have specific instructions to NOT send any literature to sport bike riders!! They will hold secret of the pig trail and jasper disaster for overweight cruisers only. Sport bike riders spend too much time in the seat. We want riders that stop every 30-50 miles. Makes it easier to separate them from their money. Thank You The Arkansas tourism board

TD, All seriousness aside, we look forward to meeting you Wed. Prepare to bring some tall tales as we are good listeners. Hopefully we can get Schurke to show up. He rides northern Arkansas A LOT. By the way I am hosting a ride Sat. to the BIG salvage yard in Neosho. We'll meet up at Panera on South Campbell leaving at 9 a.m. Back roads, easy pace, always some rain. see you Wed.

TD, You need to hook up with GuzzistaJohn. He's a mileage maniac, and on those weekends when he doesn't have a specific event destination, you can find him carving up the Natural State. And rumor has it that he has the ability to hustle that poor, clapped out Moto Guzzi along pretty quickly through the twisties once in a while. Good luck!!

And now as I take the time to read the rest of the thread I see that tpierce beat me to the punch. Ah well, just count my post as further endorsement of Big John's iron butt credentials.
P.S. Big John = Schurke = GuzzistaJohn (his handle here on SVCR)

I'd avoid that guy like the plague (greggrthomas). He's created problems in the past with many of the local motorcycle crowd. He's the only person ever asked to not come back to local get togethers, etc. Your experience may vary.
You'll find out sooner or later why.
There are tons of us that know these roads like second nature, from Springfield to Little Rock and back. Many of us ride sportbikes, and some of us bring a wealth of track knowledge/safety to that mix as well. We've stuck together over the years and weeded the unsafe and unstable out for you.

brad do you have ride thread somewhere? I don't know greggrthomas or you for that matter. But if you've posted up some descriptions/directions of rides in the area I'll sure look them over. If you know these roads like second nature I would like to hear(read) your thoughts about them.

As for bike nights, I frequent hooters on Wednesday but my favorite is hooligans on Thursday. There's not many sportbikes at hooligans but they make everyone feel welcome, if not tell em it's an allied bike lol
