Clean Carbon Fibre

I have a pair of Carbon Fibre covers on my airbox (intake). One side has been damaged by gas (I think). It dulled the finish and since these are there only for appearance it needs to look good.
Anyone know how to clean it up or if I have to have it re "clear-coated"? If so where?
