I went all "glassy eyed" just today, after a 10 mile high speed blast to go top off the gas. Not what I would call a great ride, but I was in desperate need of the 2 wheeled therapy. And yeah, there was a station about 1/4 mile away, but what fun would that have been? ;D

Got around to working on it a little more today, here is a battery box I started, will finish tomorrow

And here is where the rest of my day went... cleaning and repainting this old xs440 engine (i know i got overspray everywhere, but the frame will be chopped up, so it doesnt matter.)

I'll tell ya... it takes forever to get 32 years worth of grime and oxidization off enough to lay down a decent looking paintjob!

(still have to round the corners of the tie down)
