Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality machine shop in the area with motorcycle experience? I need to get a cylinder bored, and haven't had the need for this service for quite a few years. I think the last one I had done was by Mel at Action Cycle, so it's been a while.

I don't know about boring cylinders, but for 20 years I have used Tom David in Kissee Mills. Aluminum, stainless welding, machining, fabrication, he knows what he is doing. A little eccentric, but aren't we all. 417 546 4318

O'reilly Machine Shop bored the cylinder on my '08 KLR last November. Arlee said it measured within the specified tolerance.
Did not get the feeling they did a lot of motorcycle heads but resources told us there were not a lot of other choices locally. Their turnaround time was 2 weeks, which was a lot better than some out of state sources.
