This summer Vince and i decided to ride to Hallett, OK to watch some CMRA racing. 250 miles each way. Loaded up the saddle bags and rolled out at 4am. Love to ride the sun up! Our route took us through lots of small towns. I love the little trips back in time. Some are quite fun! Got to the race track a and watched two endurance races. These guys were doing 5 hour races in close to 110 degrees. Yikes!!! Day 2 sprint races brought out a few classics. Loved these 60s and 70s era Triumphs! And speaking of old, a couple of other 60s era classics! Me Vince Around noon Sunday when the temps cracked 105 we hit the road for home. 5 hours in the blistering heat but still a great adventure and well worth it.
