So Jeff City does have a record of a title from 2003 which is over the 7 year limit but still there. (not purged). So will that be a problem?

If they've got a record of it then it's technically still titled in MO. They'll tell you to contact the last known title holder and have them file for duplicate title so they can then sign it over to you...  |

I just want to say thanks to woahblackbetty for the great advice on how to get a title. I just received my title and plate yesterday! Fantastic!! If anyone has questions on it just PM me, I've done 5 bikes is way now and have most, if not all the wrinkles ironed out. |

I found this old thread and would welcome any additional information on obtaining a title for a bike. I've heard lots of stories both good and bad. An update is in order. Anybody have anything to add? Thanks in advance.

It's pretty straight forward and I'd be happy to help you out of it's something you're considering tackling. |

Thanks for the response. A friend is looking at a Triumph triple - no title. He's wanting to make sure it's doable. We will be in touch.
