A couple of questions for you fellas. First, can anyone recommend a product or method for cleaning ABS plastic? I’ve tried using Dawn dish detergent, but was less than happy with the results. The fenders on my KLR have what looks like pale, back mildew spots. I'm leery of using gas or something similar for fear of crazing the plastic. Second, any recommendations for local outfits for bead blasting and powder coating? Thanks!

I use dish soap and hot water. I have also used "scrubbing bubbles" on wheels but don't know if i would use it on plastic.
For blasting check the "Where and How" section. Some good recommendations in there.

Try some of that Novus plastic polish. I use it for windshields and helmet visors. Good stuff!

Scrubbing bubbles works great on plastic as well.
