Thanks! Once dry the wrap looks even better. I think it is going to be one of my favorite bike mods.
Something about this build is making me inclined to dig out my Social Distortion and Fabulous Thunderbirds CDs. I'm gonna need more white T-shirts...

Mike Ness and company will certainly get those rebel juices flowing. Crank it up! (at least until the wife/kids/dog/cat/neighbors object) (-:

Plan changes:
With the black shocks, black powder coated fork lowers, black fork boots and gnarly wrapped pipes, i almost HAVE TO leave the KZ her pristine "Joan Jett" black...
I love the blue paint but not my underlying body work and the color just doesn't feel right with the bike that is developing. So at most i'm thinking of adding a white stripe. (yet another music reference...) ;D
Unfortunately there is only one thing that will bug me. The motor...
My plan was (is) to do the frame and motor for NEXT years winter project. Full rebuild with wiseco kit, black powder coating and new carbs. But till then my great running but ugly "lump" is gonna grate at me.
So anyone know an engine polisher? Or some way to do it that doesn't involve me, a scotch brite pad and a week of my life...

The blue looks good, but back in black always looks mean and fast. You might send member bobrear a PM and ask him about polishing tips. He recently posted some pix on FB of his Triumph primary cases that he had just polished.

Progress! New master cylinder on, forks, shocks and pipe. I'm kind of crazy about this bike and it's not even done. Got so excited i ordered some Pirellis to complete the package and get ready for track day!

Looks awesome! I've been wanting to do black forks but have yet to do so. Yours make me disappointed I didn't do it on my current build.

Very nice great job! On the subject of motor polishing, I bought onr of those Mothers polishing balls for the rechargeable drill, worked pretty good. Still takes time and Blues and Jazz
