Brad found this and fired it off from the road this morning. Not a bike, but inspiring nonetheless. And a bit humbling... time to get off my arse and put in a few hours on the old shop. The 12-Gauge GarageAnybody else worked on their shop/garage/lair lately? Post some pics or start a thread!

Fresh coat of white on my work bench. Does that count?
Great inspiration link!

That garage almost looks too clean to do any work in! Mighty nice though! Here are a few shots of mine that I put up many many months ago... www.skunked.com/Garage.htm

Thanks for the mention! Any questions I can answer, just ask. Doc, the place cleans up fast, but it does get used.

jackolsen: Great web site, and fabulous garage! Like I said, truly inspiring. And not just for the end result, but also the fact that you built it, didn't just buy it. Congratulations on a job well done, and thanks for taking the time to document it and share it with the public. P.S. Sweet car.

Fresh coat of white on my work bench. Does that count? Great inspiration link! @tim-WT: Yep, it does in my book, because it all adds up. That garage almost looks too clean to do any work in! Mighty nice though! Here are a few shots of mine that I put up many many months ago... www.skunked.com/Garage.htmLooking good Doc! Nicely sorted, I need to do that first, then move on to the bigger jobs. I get ahead of myself some times and then just lose traction.

Thanks for the mention! Doc, the place cleans up fast, but it does get used. Oh, I had no doubts about that, but it just looks so darn nice I'd be hesitant to do anything in there other than wax the car! Really awesome set-up you've got there, man! @phillip- Thanks; I just got tired of having to hunt for stuff so I spent some time and got everything sorted out and labeled. Makes it much easier when building something!

Count me as inspired (within limits ;D). Moved the bikes out, swept out the crickets and spiders, rearranged the parts and supplies, and stacked the bikes back in so I had access to them all. Not bad for investing a few hours. Next up, do some real scheming and figure out some more permanent storage solutions.

Very nice indeed. I look forward to the day when I will have a really nice place like that to fix and tweak my stuff. In 2010 I had to rebuild my 4.6, and stud the block in my kitchen. Didn't have to, but I didn't want it to block my view of the tv. I have pictures of that too, but I don't want to un-inspire anybody. Gator
