If it was a desirable model and year then 2200 maybe. .70 cents a cc at most for a bin bike

I guess the point is that once it has been refurbished or converted in one direction or another it is no longer a "bin" bike. If this bike has a professional grade paint job and if the suspension is modern name brand, as it appears if should be worth close to asking price. IMO

Agreed. I guess were I was coming from is that I won't pay someone to do what I love to do. Which is bring them back to life. That's half the fun of vintage. That's a super cool bike though. And if someone doesn't have the time or know how then she looks like a good candidate.

Yup. Some would rather ride than build. Others enjoy the build as much.
I customize everything i own but have to be able to ride them at the same time. I think i've done my last "basket case build". Just my personality. (and lack of skill level) ;D
