Is it possible to make good enough avg. time to Baton Rouge and still make the saddle sore 24hr. critera AND have crawfish? Not without cannonballing it. We'd have to discuss those matters in person

I've done the run to Alexandria, LA and back for the 1,000 miles. Stopped and grabbed some great Boudain from a hole in the wall place in Alexandria. It's hard to make time through Arkansas very efficiently.

I like the way you talk! After I did the bunburner 1500 I really didn't care about the license plate frame or a t shirt, butt AND ahe rest of my body was well aware of what I had done to myself.

Any of you seasoned IBers read the magazine? And if so, worth the price of admission in your opinion? Looks like a lot of fun, and good source for info and inspiration.

Nope, never got the magazine, how much could possibly be written about a sore keester?: ) I have enjoyed the day to day account of the big iron butt in the WWW while it's being run however. 12 or 15 yrs ago a dude won it on a LeMans like Tim P has and did the last thousand moles or so on one lung
