Watching Brad blast around Saturday on his KTM with the trunk reminded me of that trip around the world that I've been meaning to embark on any day now. Yeah... But in lieu of that, I like checking out the GlobeRiders web site www.globeriders.com. If you have AT&T U-verse you can check out a couple of their trips on channel 1470.

What if we have a friend who has it and will record it for us?

@tim: I would be happy to, but I might need a little tech support on how to get it from PVR to DVD. You don't know anybody with that type of expertise, do you? Their first documentary (SE Asia - www.globeriders.com/product_pages/dvd_indochina.shtml ) is in rotation now. I'll begin recording the episodes and maybe when work allows you can give me a quick A/V tutorial. I know, it's the kind of stuff every 14 yr old in America know how to do, but hey, it's tough some times being a Luddite. brad: It seems to be working! 25 years ago I lived in Florida, and I drove like a man possessed, always a minimum of 20 MPH over the posted limit (apparently not nearly as mellow back then as I am now). I credit my '76 Volvo station wagon with keeping me ticket free. I used to call it the ultimate suburban stealth assault vehicle. You may have found the motorcycle equivalent. Of course it would be more convincing if the front wheel were on the ground more often!

I've read for years, about motorcycles that incite hooliganism in otherwise rational folk, and didn't pay it much mind.
Then I bought a KTM.

One of the things I like about the Tiger is I can buzz through a town at a pretty rapid rate and barely make a sound, (I also tour with a tail box)

That's what I love about the versatility of the adventure touring or enduro type bikes: from homemaker to hooligan in seconds flat! And a trunk just keeps the milk from sitting in a saddlebag, right on the exhaust, on the way home. Now to find an old airhead RG within my meager budget...
