Many of you know that last summer I acquired the Yamaha Street Tracker that was built by the same guys who built my KZ 650 and helped a bit with my XS 400. I put about 1K miles on it, as was, but now it's time to sort out a few remaining issues and to modify it a bit to make it feel more like mine. TimP is doing the heavy lifting but I'll do what i can as time and skills permit.

Parts ready for next build session. But first, some fender chopping.

Now I remember why I thought you needed to see those brown gaiters.

I hope we got the timing and oil leak issues resolved. I guess we still have carb issues to sort. More reading!

Thanks so much for the help and inspiration TimP! I priced lifts but then came home an built a $42 "Work Deck" instead.

Then today, I did some actual work on the "Work Deck".

Great addition- those gaitors. Any project, however big or small, just requires a little motivation and patience. Oil leak- check Gaitors- check Carbs. ? One step at a time

So how is this coming along? Have you considered the EX500 carbs as a replacement for your 34's?
