I dont think I'll be taking any more full builds on for customers for a while, Its too time consuming. I will on the other hand offer you guys a special rate for other work.
I seem to be getting a plethora of inquiry's on barebones wiring bikes.
I typically charge 150-200 to completely rewire a bike, but i will extend the offer to you guys for 100.00 for minimum wiring (your bike will start, run, charge and have a headlight (high/low) and taillight, brake light) using stock controls, or customer supplied buttons/switches
(I can get a great deal on switches and buttons and such)
Hardtails using your stock axle plates (chopped off your swingarm and reworked) will be 250.00 installed, frame must be bare when I receive it for that price.
can also do other Misc fab work.
Direct email is the best way to reach me ExperiMetalCustoms@live.com

Price list looks very reasonable.
Still love the fab work you did for me!

Is your bike a twin or a four cylinder? What is wrong with your tensioner?

its a 4 and its the stock auto tensioner its just worn out, apparently they were prone to breakage/premature wear on kz bikes but mine did good for the past 30 years.lol.

I'll also see if I can get some specs and see if it's something that could be done on the water jet.

So it looks like i need to replace the field coil on the XS400. Would you be able to do that?
Would you happen to have one in your stash of xs parts?
