That's a great looking skid plate.
Question about the fuel cans --- with stabilizer added, how long will the fuel stay fresh?

Good question.
"STA BIL" claims indefinitely but i'm not sure i buy that. I will probably just empty the fuel into the tank at the end of each ride and re-fill when i next need them. With the stock tank range of 150 ish miles i won't need them for most trips around here. I'm just fine tuning my setup for the Baja ride.

Non-motorcycle note: Every time I see your Primus bottles, the song "Sea of Cheese" starts playing in my head.

Back fully outfitted and the bag supports worked great. You can see that the left side support makes a great place to stow my towrope. The right side has my fuel cell bolted on Chuck and i did an 80 mile ride today. Out to Chadwick where we played in the dirt for about 10 miles and then back home. Great day!

Good summery of most of what i found. Important summary at the end. "Not cheep or fast". If i spend any more on this tank i will have invested more than a new one in the color i wanted. So, i have it up for sale.
