Thought I'd share a summary of the Sunday track day at Hallett. First, RL and Justin were both on new rides! RL had quite the change, going from his vintage CB to the SV650S. By the afternoon sessions, RL was digging his new ride. Justin, who was already fast on his CBR1000, brought his newly acquired GSXR1000, and broke into the 1:29's before the day was finished. Here's a glory shot of Justin dragging the knee. All photos courtesy of Colleen, Jeff's most excellent girlfriend photographer:  Sara and Leah were plenty fast too, and will be in the Street group next time I predict:   Jeff was fast as usual:  But then, as he rolled on the throttle in turn 3 on cold tires:  Luckily, he was uninjured, and the bike damage was relatively minor. He had some superb GoPro footage that will soon be posted up to YouTube. These two riders managed to tangle on the #6 carousel:  I finally managed to overcome the freaky feeling of scaping my knee sliders on the pavement:  But I think next year's track days will require a proper sports bike with clip ons. I'm finding it tough to move around with the upright seating position of the Streety. |

Nice photos... Justin looks to be unstopable... Everyone is looking to be riding very well and having a good time.. Hopefully next year I'll be able to hit a couple more. Jeff.. Dave A once said you never know how fast you can go until you fall.

ZoomZoommo, was so right. The morning was not good for me.The last session 9 laps ranged 1:58 to 1:54 ( a personal best). Honda and I best 2:05 on the 3rd trip..... Sara and Leah were so sweet waving ever time they passed and lapped me ........ YOU, boys and girls and the best of people, had a lot of fun with all of you...........Brad was missed.
