Too dark to see, too loud to talk and no place to sit outside. Other than that it's perfect. lol

That sounds like a gentleman's club, not a coffee house ...

I'm not opposed to making a winter shift. Dancing Mule is also an option, except we may be limited by their closing time.

Phil needs to convince the Mule to open a S. Springfield location, preferrably right at Cox & Republic Road.

Phil needs to convince the Mule to open a S. Springfield location, preferrably right at Cox & Republic Road. I've discussed it with them. The problem is the traffic doesn't justify the rents that commercial property is bringing in the SW Sgf quadrant these days. My admittedly unsophisticated palate tells me that Dancing Mule has the best coffee by far, but like Brad said, they've determined that for their locale there is no profit in staying open past 7:00. Of course, we might ba able to rent the whole joint for an hour or two on a given evening, but that would require some premeditation on our part. And that's the beauty of *Bux, always a place to park that's easy to watch your bike, usually sufficient seating, and people just drop in at the appointed times without checking the board first because that's where we usually meet. All that being said, I'll endeavor to do a better job in the future by posting when I drop in on alternatives instead of sending a text blast so more folks will have an opportunity to join me and try out something new. But I'm usually just in the area and stop on a whim. I suggest others do the same, especially if you want to spread the SV&CR coffee love.
