I have the clutch lever (complete) and a lockset (ignition, gas cap, and seat lock)
Make me an offer on them.
No need for the other parts at the moment, thanks for the offer though.

Condition?
Do your have a rough condition seat with a good or repairable seat pan?
I really hate to cut up my nice seat but i'm not going to use it as a step seat. Rather cut up one that is already rough. Maybe we can come up with enough to trade.

My body work sux so this paint is just for inspiration and decision making purposes. Still trying to sort out the seat plan as well. The CB500 seat may just work.

Turns out I'm not going to repair mine (back to factory) to sell it.. it needs to much, so im going to chop it. it'll fetch more that way anywho. So I'm not going to need the seat, I would make you a good deal on the parts your needing though.

Me too. I'm ready for it to start coming together. Waiting for parts and parts money is getting old. ;D
I think "bobbed" is going to hook me up with some significant parts soon. That will help.

Wet sanding is amazing. Spent about an hour on it this morning. I might just be able to salvage this tank as is. Need a warm day to get some more coats on.

Found out the secret you builders already know. Grindin' is FUN! So i took my new grinder and chopped some tabs and lots of the metal off the tail end. Pulled the chrome fender from the CB500. Went over it with Coca-Cola and aluminum foil to knock the rust spots off the chrome. Went over the inside and then hit that with rustolium. Chopped it in half and mounted it. Not sure about the angle but i'll fine tune that after i mount longer shocks etc. I do like the "motocross" look of it. Other than that I've ordered most of the remainder of needed parts. Also got a few from Austin (Bobbed750). Thanks man! Just for fun i ran the budget and I'm at around $400 including purchase price. Depending on the cost of shocks and allowing for one or two surprises i should bring it in close to $600 all in.

Yup 14 would get it, but longer would be fine too.
Thanks, that would rock!
You best be at coffee tomorrow. The guys want to meet you. ;D
